Serena Williams Is Reportedly Dating Reddit Co-Founder Alexis Ohanian, Not Drake

The Serena Williams and Drake romance that seemed to be blossoming this summer looks like it was never that serious (for Serena). Us Weekly reports, via sources, that Williams is now dating Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

The source says Serena and Alex met each other at a lunch, adding that “It’s new,” a quote that tells us nothing. Ohanian, of course, has had his hands full with the infamous Reddit uprising and departure of CEO Ellen Pao.

Dang, this news comes after MediaTakeOut had that “Super Worldwide Exclusive” about Serena being pregnant with Drake’s baby, which the site claimed is “NOT rumor y’all…it’s FACT.”

Although Williams, 34, was recently linked to Drake, a second source says it was simply a “flirty friendship.” Now, the tennis pro is making love part of her routine, bringing her new guy, 32, to her workout at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics on Saturday, Oct. 24. Says an onlooker, “He called her babe and they held hands.”

“Babe” is a sure sign of a relationship.

There’s a media conspiracy at play here, too: Williams guest-edited the November issue of Wired, which is owned by Condé Nast, whose parent company, Advance Publications, is a Reddit shareholder. Vogue editor Anna Wintour frequently attends Williams’s tennis matches, and Williams has called the fashion editor her “mentor.” Condé, what have you done?
