Monday evening, news broke that Alex Wagner’s planned weekend show on MSNBC had been shelved, joining the ranks of several contributors of color who have been pushed out or relegated to smaller on-air roles. The network, set on shedding its liberal persona, has also seemed to whitewash its presenters. Meanwhile, Harris-Perry’s Twitter indicated she was in conversation with MSNBC brass about her departure until 5 PM today, but that she was not impressed with the meeting, at all.
