Marco Rubio Responds to Trump Prank, Meanwhile We Are One Day Closer to Being Eaten By Bugs

Wow, Donald Trump is really solidifying his role in the Republican presidential race as the class clown that everyone wishes would be quiet and let the class learn. But also you know he’s going to get into whatever school he wants to go to because his parents donated an athletic center or something.

On Monday, the Trump campaign sent Marco Rubio a care package full of necessities, including 24 bottles of “Trump Ice Natural Spring Water” emblazoned with Trump’s face, bumper stickers, two “Make America Great Again” towels, and a note: “Since you’re always sweating, we thought you could use some water. Enjoy!”

It is unclear to what Trump is specifically referring. In 2013, Rubio’s State of the Union address went viral when he paused in the middle to take a sip of water. But that was two years ago. And also nobody cares.

In a speech last week, Trump said of Rubio, “I’ve never seen a young guy sweat that much. He’s drinking water, water, water. I never saw anything like this with him with the water.” So that’s a fun joke Trump shares with himself.

“It is what it is,” Rubio said of the care package in an interview with Fox News. “I drink water. So what? And I only sweat when it’s hot.”

“I heard it’s very high-quality water,” he continued. “Apparently Evian are a bunch of losers.”

Trump, please stop. Your classmates are trying to do their work.
