Did John Mayer Sleep With Taylor Swift & Break Her Teenage Heart?

You know how Taylor Swift says that all of her songs are about her relationships? Her new song, “Dear John,” seems to detail what went down between Taylor and John Mayer. And it doesn’t end well.

Back in February, In Touch reported that John Mayer and Taylor Swift had “gotten cozy”; she was seen sitting on his lap with her arms around his neck, and a source claimed she spent the night in his hotel suite.

What actually happened between Taylor and John? We don’t know. But the lyrics to “Dear John” go like this:

It was wrong
Don’t you think nineteen’s too young
To be played
By your dark, twisted games
When I loved you so

Uh-oh. Sounds like the 32-year-old guy might have gone too far with a teenage girl! But the question must be asked: Was it just a mindscramble, a whirlwind romance, an emotional vortex, or did John and Taylor also have sex? Because seriously, I have zero proof of this, but I think it sounds like Taylor might have lost her virginity to John, who then added a notch to his headboard and moved on. Note: This is solely based on the bad poetry I wrote when I was around the same age. When I was in love and he didn’t feel the same way, the poetry was sad. But when I was in love and we had sex (my first time) and then he acted like a fucking jerk and asked, “Who is this?” when I called his house, the poetry had an angry undertone, which I think I detect in Taylor’s lyrics.

Crying all the way home: What you do when you sleep in a rock star’s hotel room, have sex, and then realize he’s a jackass with a white supremacist dick who is still texting his “sexual napalm” ex? Maybe!

And I’ll look back in regret I ignored what they said
“Run as fast as you can”

She’s not just heartbroken. She is pissed!

In any case, Taylor believes that her lyrics are quite clear. She told a reporter: “Every single song is like a roadmap to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won’t know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know.”
