Before you celebrate—by say, twerking while pregnant—here’s a sobering thought: Cardi is only the second woman this year to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as the lead artist on a track, following Camila Cabello’s “Havana.” For 26 out of 28 weeks of the year so far, a man has topped the chart. Anyway, Cardi B is the remedy. Everybody likes it, including Cardi:
