The Third Royal Baby Hath Arriveth

Latest

The third royal baby has arrived, with just enough time to enjoy a little time in the sun before The Great Wedding eclipses everything in its path. The AP reports that Kate Middleton gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on April 23, 2018. To those who lined up outside St. Mary’s Hospital waiting for this momentous occasion, congratulations—you did it!

Middleton entered the hospital around 8:35 am GMT and gave birth to her baby a few hours later. A statement from the Palace provides a scant bit more info. From People:

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs,” the statement said. “The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.”
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news,” the statement continued. “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

What will they name the precious dumpling, who stands to be fifth in line to the throne? Let’s consult this board, provided by this helpful gentleman and Ladbrokes.

Arthur! James! Albert! Philip! Thomas! Great names for a plump little rich baby. Congratulations, Kate! Sorry, George! Watch out Charlotte! And good luck, Wills.
