Speaking of sandwiches, in wake of the recent Jared Fogle scandal, Subway has removed a strange video game that had been featured on the kids division of their website. The game was called “Jared’s Pants Dance” which allowed players to catch sandwiches and other menu items with a cartoon version of Fogle’s iconic giant denim pants. My question is, who allowed such a weird game to be made in the first place?
The game is no longer available online as of Wednesday, but can be seen here via internet archive, reports Mashable. The sandwich chain cut ties with their former spokesperson on Tuesday evening, following news that he is expected to plead guilty to charges of illicit sexual conduct with two minors and his participation in a five-year criminal scheme to exploit children. Fogle will face five to 12.5 years of prison time and will pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 minor victims.
Katie Fogle, Jared’s wife, has also released a statement announcing her plans to seek a divorce from her husband.
