Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Separate in Move That Shocks No One

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton have separated.

In an exclusive statement made to People magazine, the couple explained:

We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.

Thicke, 36, and Patton, 38, met when he was 14 and she was 16. They’ve been married since 2005 and she gave birth to a son in 2010.

While the two did not offer reasons for the separation, one might question if, after Robin Thicke took heat for being part of the Miley Cyrus Fingergate, was photographed nuzzling a woman who was not his wife and grabbed the ass of a petulant blonde in an Instagram, Paula Patton looked at the man who called “Blurred Lines” a feminist movement and thought, I’m a good girl; I do not want it. I do not want it. But who knows.
