Listen To Nadya Suleman Say "Babies Disgust Me"

A couple of weeks ago, In Touch reported that in an interview, Nadya “Octomom” Suleman said that she hated babies. When Suleman visited the Today show on July 8, she claimed that In Touch‘s story was libelous slander and that she was considering legal action. Today, however, an audio file of the interview has been posted online, and you can hear Suleman say, quite clearly, “I hate babies.”

To be fair, while listening to an mp3 of the interview, it’s obvious that she does not hate her children. The reporter asks, “If you had the ability and the money to have more children, would you?” Suleman responds: “No. I cringe, and I’m not kidding, when I hear a baby cry and I’m outside.”

She continues:

I do not like babies. I do not. It’s also very hard for me to bond. I bond with my six — the first six I had… But I’n starting to have my own little hypotheses that when a woman has a tremendous amount — a big litter — I think I think something happens in the brain which prevents them from being able to bond.

Later she says: “I’m disgusted by babies, and I’m so sorry, I’m just being honest. They make me sick. I couldn’t even imagine -– I don’t even look at them. I have to look the other way.”

But when asked, “What about your own?” she says no, meaning she is not disgusted by her children.

These are my children. I am actually becoming – because the nannies are gone. … I am forcing myself to do absolutely everything, with that said, I am bonding with them, so that is occurring naturally.

Suleman’s rep tells TMZ, “Nadya never gave an interview to InTouch magazine. She never once said she was disgusted by her own children.”

Translation: She spoke to a freelance reporter or someone who recorded her voice without her consent. She is disgusted by your children, but hers are great. When she’s not crying in the bathroom.
