Kris Jenner May Be The Richest Reality Star Of Them All

Latest

The Daily Beast compiled a list of reality TV’s top earners in 2010, three of which are Kardashians. Momager Kris Jenner—who gets her 10%—didn’t make the cut. But she might be making the biggest bucks of all.

The Daily Beast places Kim Kardashian at the top of its list, pulling in an estimated $6 million this year in endorsements, licensing deals, celebratory appearance fees, and sponsored tweets. Kourtney and Khloe are not far behind, earning an estimated $2.5 million each. Their mom Kris gets a cut, meaning she’s earned $1.1 million just in manger fees of those three girls alone. Kris has three other kids—all featured on the family’s hit reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which Kris executive-produces—from whom she can profit (one of them being 15-year-old Kendall, who has recently started modeling for Wilhelmina). She joked on The View last week, “I shoulda had more kids.”

Kris also manages her husband, former Olympic athlete turned sought-after motivational speaker, Bruce Jenner. And now her son-in-law, L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom has hired her to be his personal manager, organizing his personal appearances, handling his marketing, and landing him endorsement deals. (In 2010, Lamar has appeared in Taco Bell and Samsung Mobile commercials.) Additionally, Kris has branched out beyond the family for the first time by managing the pop group The Beach Girl5.

But then there’s Kris’ own fees for her celebrity appearances (when you see photos of her on a red carpet in Vegas, it’s not because she’s there to keep Kim company) and speaking engagements, as well as her own endorsement deals. Along with Kim, Kris has signed on to be the face of Sketchers’ new campaign, “Shaping Up With the Kardashians.” Kris and her other daughter Kourtney were tapped to endorse Rejuvicare, a line of skin, hair and nail supplements, not to mention that she’s in on that QuickTrim money. And just last week, Kris was on The View shilling some coat she designed for Curel skincare.

So when everyone wants to know how and why “Kardashian” has become a brand, you can point to this lady, who is laughing all the way to the bank.
