Katy Perry Reminds Us Again That She's Okay with Taylor Swift Now

Katy Perry just wants you to know that she respects Taylor Swift very, very much. Katy Perry is totally cool now, with Taylor Swift, someone she once beefed with. But not anymore! Did you know that? Did you?!

Katy Perry recently told Variety that she thinks Taylor Swift is setting “a great example” with her recent Instagram endorsing two Tennessee democrats. Perry was also one of the first people to like the post.

I’m adding this to the growing file of Perry making sure everyone knows that she’s actually totally cool with Taylor Swift, despite their long-running beef. After Perry reportedly poached some of Swift’s tour dancers in 2013, Swift wrote “Bad Blood” based on the incident, to which Perry famous tweeted “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…”

Perry tried to fan the flames of their beef when she was promoting Witness, but Swift wasn’t really biting. And then abruptly, probably after realizing that alienating one of the biggest pop stars isn’t going well for her, Perry turned to forgiving Swift. “Maybe I don’t agree with everything she does and she doesn’t agree with everything I do, but I just really truly want to come together in a place of love and forgiveness and understanding and compassion.” But it wasn’t enough so Perry, again, apologized to Swift this time in a private letter.
