Jameela Jamil Hopes Celebrities Shit Their Pants in Public

The Good Place’s Jameela Jamil is done with celebrities flogging detox teas, which, according to her tweets, are just diarrhea water.

Fed up with ads featuring celebrities like Khloé Kardashian and Cardi B shilling weight loss teas, Jamil did not hold back, tweeting that she hopes “all these celebrities shit their pants in public” and going on to explain that all the teas really do is “give you diarrhea, which then gives you a flatter tummy for a day.”

Jamil added that she’s got nothing against Khloé, who “has been conditioned/outright bullied by her own family and the press to believe being thin is the most important thing in the world.”

This isn’t the first time Jamil has spoken out against celebs endorsing detox teas and waist trainers. In an August 29 interview with Channel 4 News, Jamil said these ads were “selling us self-consciousness” and drew both praise and criticism for labeling the Kardashians “double agent[s] for the patriarchy.”.

Her tweets also mention the importance of fiber for a healthy digestive tract. Good advice!
