The fourth season of Real Housewives of New York City was originally slated to premiere in February but, as of today, has been pushed back to spring. In its place, Bravo will air the Miami season. Contrary to previous reports, drag queen Elaine Lancaster will not be a permanent member of the cast, but will definitely be featured on the show. While the show was originally shot with the working title “Miami Social Club,” it was later changed after filming wrapped to be included in the Housewives franchise. We’ll have to wait until the premiere to see how the last minute swap will measure up, but until then here are the official cast members:
Married to NBA star Scottie Pippen since 1997—with whom she has four kids—she’s considered the “Hottest NBA Wife,” although Larsa is gracious enough to share this title with her friend, and cast mate Cristy Rice. A former model, the “Lebanese beauty” has shied away from the spotlight until now.

A Miami native, Cristy is recently divorced from NBA star Glen Rice, with whom she has three children. No mention is made in her bio of their settlement, but it appears that she does own a clothing store.
This lady calls herself the “Cuban Barbie.” She’s the executive editor of Venue Magazine, a fashion and Latin pop culture in Miami. She has two sons from a previous relationship, but is currently married to businessman/political consultant Herman Echevarria, who was somehow involved in the big recount mess in Florida in the Bush/Gore election in 2000.
Adriana seems to be the resident “wild one” of the group. She’s Brazilian, a full-time mom, and an art curator. She only recently came out of a “traumatic” divorce but immediately became engaged to another man, with whom her relationship is on the rocks.
Marysol’s bio claims that she is the most “sought-after woman both socially and professionally” in Miami. Divorced for 10 years, she founded and runs the PR firm the Patton Group. The absolute best thing about this lady, judging from the clip below, is her cosmetically-altered, ballsy mother Elsa, who considers herself a seer and spiritual guide, who basically just talks shit to people’s faces under the guise of psychic energy.
Lea seems like she fits in the least with this group of women, as she appears to be much older than the rest of them. However, she appears to be the cast’s official shit-stirrer, thus making her a necessity for a dramatic (or watchable) season. Married to famous defense attorney Roy Black with whom she has a 9-year-old son, she’s a staunch supporter of President Obama, for whom she raised money during the election.
