It's actually so much better that Farrah Abraham's plan to appear on Couples Therapy with a fake boyfriend fell through because he would've just gotten in the way of her pageantry of delusion, which is what is making this show worth watching.
For example, who needs a staged relationship argument when instead we can hear Farrah discuss her upcoming projects: a trilogy of "erotic sex novels" followed by a Christian parenting book.
Seeing how the other cast members are reacting to her disconnected bullshit is half the fun. Only two episodes in and she's left impressions like:
"She could be the most self-absorbed human being I've ever met."
Or:
"I feel like there's some type of like plastic in front of her. I don't even know if she's in tune with her real self."
And:
"It seems like her mind is doing everything all at once. It's weird as hell. But it's actually funny as hell, too."
