Phone Camera Captures Insane Car Crash in Kansas

The car became airborne. According to reports, the driver walked away.

A car crashed into an abandoned vehicle on I-70 several miles outside of Manhattan, Kansas this morning. The driver inexplicably drove right into the car and became airborne. The driver has been injured and police are investigating.

Authorities believe that the driver, Greg Harris, may have been impaired. Eyewitness reports state that he left the car of his own will after the crash.

Update: It is possible, as stated in many comments, that this was staged based on the way this is filmed, the driving, and the abandoned vehicle. The highway patrol report in the above links, however, is very real. Other commenters are pointing out that the camera was turned on to record Harris's erratic driving, which was going on for about ten minutes before the accident.

This happened near my home! This is what I know... The vehicle that was hit had the ramps down on the trailer after removing equipment to do work in the immediate area. The guys in the truck that were taking the video had started the video because the driver of the airborne truck had been driving erratically and so were rolling when he decided to pull a Bo and Luke Duke. The ex sister-in-law alleges that "Mr. Duke" is a frequent drug user. I don't think it was staged. I think the dude saw the ramps down on the trailer and while traveling 85MPH and high as fuck, thought, "FUCK YEAH! I'm jumpin' that Bitch". It's Kansas, what else have we got to do today?
