Danielle Staub Reacts To Being Fired From Real Housewives

In her Bravo blog, Danielle Staub addresses the news that she’s not been asked to return for the third season of RHONJ. She doesn’t confirm or deny the “rumors,” but she does speak of “other offers” she’s considering.

Due to recent rumors posted today, I’d like to say that I’m not even thinking about Season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6. Don’t worry next year, I’ll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love.

The rest of her blog reads like an acceptance speech, where she thanks her “team,” her kids, her hairstylist, her publisher, her fans and whomever else doesn’t totally hate her. Here’s a sample:

I would like to thank Christine and Jillian and my entire team: Kristen, Lori, Todd, Giuseppe, Joann & Mark for being equals with me on this journey and never wavering, or shaking, and being steadfast by my side.

This is the second week in a row where she refused to discuss the episode that just aired (as it seems that all the Housewives are required to do), and instead thanked people. One commenter on her blog put it pretty succinctly:

You are obtuse to what Bravo likely wants the cast to comment about. Therefore, it appears this is, in fact, the end of the road for you and this blog confirms it as you continue to shamelessly self-promote and refuse to talk about the episode.
