Ben Affleck Returned to Rehab for Alcohol Addiction and Jennifer Garner Drove Him There

Just days after he was photographed accepting what looked like an alcohol delivery to his Pacific Palisades home (which may or may not have been for himself), Ben Affleck has reportedly checked back in to rehab, thanks to help from his estranged wife Jennifer Garner, who drove him there.

Page Six reports Affleck has been “‘struggling’ since breaking up with longtime girlfriend Lindsay Shookus,” (he even started seeing someone new) and that Garner showed up at his home Wednesday afternoon for an intervention that ultimately led to her driving him to a treatment center “in L.A. County.”

In a statement released by Affleck after completing treatment for his alcoholism last year, he wrote:

“I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step. I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”

While browsing our photo wires I came across vide of Garner being unfathomably polite and respectful to the photographers surrounding Affleck’s house just before they drove off. We can’t post it, but I’m sure you can find it somewhere if you dig a little.

I truly don’t know how she does it.
