Zosia Mamet's $32,000 Folk Music Kickstarter Failed

Latest

We were really hoping that Zosia Mamet’s music video Kickstarter was a deft parody of celebrities who make Kickstarters, given that she talked about wanting to hang out with her sister more while sitting on a pile of wood. In front of a cabin, because David Mamet’s daughters call their band the “Cabin Sisters.” Parody at its best!

But it wasn’t. And it only raised $2,783, less than 10% of their goal of $32,000. TMZ is being real mean about it (CRAPPY and BOMBED are both used to describe the endeavor, in caps) so now I feel bad for everyone involved. Let’s just pretend this never happened. That’s what the ever considerate Shoshanna would do.
