Your Boyfriend Drake Released a Surprise Album

In the middle/still of the night, Drake dropped his dramatically titled album-mixtape (let’s just call it a project) If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Hitting play will transport you swiftly to a locale called Your Feelings, U.S.A. right in time for you-know-what day.

Drake is multi-layered, of course, so this isn’t just about his sentimental side, but “Jungle” in particular is a jerker. Plus, I’m seeing tons of emo lyrics floating Twitter, which is always an indication that something Drake-related is in the air:

“This a forever thing. I hate that I treat it like it’s a whatever thing.” (“Jungle”)

“Ex girl, she the female version of me” (“Energy”)

“I don’t know if you know but I know who you are” (“Madonna”)
