Last week, Lana Condor stopped by the Jezebel studio on the cusp of her star turn in the Netflix romcom To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and her sparkling personality was as impressive as she is in the film. Based on Jenny Han’s novel of the same name, Condor plays a romantic dreamer named Lara Jean Covey who lives her best life in her fantasies. But when Lara Jean’s private love letters are accidentally sent to each of her crushes, she’s left to confront the boys she was so hopelessly in love with. Condor told us that her role as Lara Jean is exactly the character she’s always wanted to play. In our latest installment of Jezebel Quickies, she opines on dating, her dream roles, and the interminable grossness of porta potties.
