HBO just dropped the trailer for Game of Thrones Season 7. Cersei and Jamie Lannister are surrounded in King’s Landing, but frankly it barely matters because the wintery armies to the north are massing to wreck everybody in Westeros.
It took years but we’re finally approaching the goddamn narrative payoff on this thing, praise the Seven.
Several hurried viewings suggest: Arya seems to be making for Winterfell; Littlefinger is still whispering ominously in Sansa’s ears; Davos (much like the world’s climate scientists) would very much like everyone to focus on the existential threat, here; and Cersei still has that hair. July 16! Prepare yourself for warring women flexing in power capes!
