Guess what? Actresses are still accepting roles in Woody Allen movies. This time, it’s Kristen Stewart who will be seen in Allen’s next project. She’ll be joining a cast that includes Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Jeannie Berlin, Corey Stoll, Ken Stott, Bruce Willis and Jesse Eisenberg, Stewart’s co-star from 2009’s Adventureland and the upcoming American Ultra. Filming is scheduled to begin this month in New York and L.A., according to THR.
No details about the feature have been released, but we can probably expect to see Stewart donning some neutral-colored garments and have an affair with one of the old dudes. Bruce Willis’s character, perhaps?
Meanwhile, Amazon’s chief Roy Price was recently asked why they gave Allen a show, despite the sexual assault allegations made against him by Dylan Farrow. Price replied, “You know, Woody Allen is one of the greatest filmmakers America has ever produced, and we are going to be talking about people are going to be talking about Woody’s films for a long, long time.” Maybe that’s Kristen Stewart’s reason, too. :(
