Which Celeb Has The Dumbest Fans On Twitter?

Tom Scott is a genius! He created Stupid FIght, a program in which you plug in celebrity names, and find out who has the stupider fans.

Scott admits that the science here is inexact; the equation doesn’t understand irony, or languages besides English. He notes:

Stupid Fight can’t go out and administer an intelligence test to each person that’s sending messages to a celebrity. So instead, it estimates based on several stupid indicators. Are they using twenty exclamation marks in a row? Do they endlessly use the abbreviation ‘OMG’? Do they seem incapable of working out where their Shift key is? These indicators have a strong correlation with the message, and its sender, being stupid.

Still, the application is really fun…

Sometimes the results are six of one, half a dozen of the other: John Mayer’s fans are dumber than Jim Carrey’s.

Sometimes you think, How can that be true?!?! Case in point: Jon Stewart has more idiots following him than Glenn Beck. (ok, ok, it’s FAKE jon Stewart.
