Oy, what a hot mess of a patinage sur la glace competition this women's event was. YuNa looking like her brain had been abducted by aliens. Laura Lepizzzto getting bronze for a program several hundred skaters in my town could do. (Evidently the Finns have some serious bloc voting power now.)

Good grief, I would've rather they'd given the bronze to Miki Ando, Cynthia Phaneuf or Joannie Rochette. And Rochette wasn't even there.

Actually, the one good thing about this was Phaneuf's placement. Nice "comeback," and saved two spots for Cdn. women next year. [/seriousskatinggeek]
