Still reeling from the Salt-n-Pepa reality show, where we found out that Salt gave up the fly life for church and motherhood, but Pep was still Pep? VH1’s new show might soothe our broken hearts.

Let’s Talk About Pep is a real life comedy following Sandra “Pepa” Denton of Salt-n-Pepa fame as she emerges from several years of romantic and sexual dormancy, brought on by some seriously lousy relationships. Now she’s ready again to search for love and action in the capital of hooking up, New York. She’s joined by three friends also trying to negotiate the romantic minefield of NYC.

And just judging from this clip, it’s Pepa in all her outrageous glory – and rolling with a new set of homegirls (one of whom is Jacque Reid!) who find themselves confronting issues like the right time to indulge a toe sucking fetish and how to cope when your gorgeous candles set your date’s hair on fire:
