Uncle Joe Biden Is Not Creepy, Says Girl Biden Kinda Creeped On

Smooth, cool, leather-jacket-wearing Uncle Joe Biden is Not Creepy, says Maggie Coons, daughter of Senator Chris Coons.

This photo taken of the trio at Chris Coons’s swearing in suggests otherwise, like Maggie is seriously uncomfortable and wants Uncle Joe to get a grip and to get his off of her but because she’s a 13-year old who’s super mature for her age she’s not going to cause a scene and handle it like a boss—but her dad says, nope, all is good.

“No, she doesn’t think the vice president is creepy. He’s known my kids their whole lives. Joe was just being thoughtful, he was leaning forward. I could hear him. He was leaning forward and whispering some encouragement to her about how when he was sworn in and his own daughter Ashley was 13 and she felt awkward and uncomfortable and he was encouraging her about how to get through a day with lots of cameras and lots of folks watching,” Coons said on Fox News Sunday. “He was being Joe. He was being thoughtful, and he was being sweet. I think she is pleasantly surprised that more people have heard of her than have heard of me.”

There’s lots of other stuff that 72-year olds know a thing or two about, like what it was like to wear bellbottom pants the first time they came in vogue and the ins and outs of Medicare. Something tells me, though, that Maggie won’t be sharing Uncle Joe’s sage words of wisdom during her next game of truth or dare.
