2 Chainz has offered to pay the rent of Deirdre Plater, a disabled veteran, for a full year. According to the New York Daily News:
The rapper teamed up with his his T.R.U Foundation to use some of the proceeds from his “Ugly Christmas Sweater” to buy furniture for her apartment.
The rapper’s line of holiday sweaters include a design with Kris Kringle and Mrs. Clause doing the dab dance. He said he’ll continue to donate part of its profits to help families in need.
“Important to give back when you’ve got it,” 2 Chainz wrote on Instagram.
