As you know, Senator Al Franken is the latest high-profile man to be accused of sexual assault. Guess which bundle of flaxen-haired impetigo has roused himself to make a tweet?
Trump’s pretty proud of himself, despite fucking up his attempt at a pun by misspelling “Frankenstein,” the flaccid meat muppet. He seems to think that the alleged revelation that Franken forcibly kissed and groped TV host and morning news anchor Leeann Tweeden somehow lets him off the hook for his own behavior, as though there isn’t room for multiple sexual predators in our fair country.
The response has been about what you’d expect:
Newsweek pointed out that the Department of Defense retweeted a message from an account called Proud Resister, which called for Franken, Trump and Roy Moore’s resignation. The agency claims it was a mistake, which forces me to wonder how much incompetence can possibly be crammed into one administration before it physically collapses on itself.
In his smugness, Trump seems to have forgotten that he has a lawsuit pending against him from former Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos, who is suing for defamation after he denied forcibly kissing her in 2007. He also seems to have forgotten about the more than a dozen other women who have accused him of harassment or assault. He also seems to have forgotten about this:
But we haven’t. And won’t. Ever.
