Tracee Ellis Ross, Style Icon in Perpetuity, Changed 10 Times at the AMAs

In DepthIn Depth

We were sure Tracee Ellis Ross, the best-dressed person on television and probably Hollywood, would show out during her hosting gig at the American Music Awards.

But even armed with this knowledge, we were not quite prepared for how breathtakingly perfect each painstaking ensemble was, as she appeared in 10 different outfits, nearly all of them made by black designers—including that tulle swan gown made by Virgil Abloh’s Off-White, that long Gucci cape crafted by hip-hop fashion king Dapper Dan, that to-die-for glam red jumpsuit by Carly Cushnie (fka “et Ochs”), and WHEW LORD that Sergio Hudson leopard print catsuit! We salute Ms. Ross every day. Catch how she turnt it in the video above.
