After two years, a heavy financial and emotional investment, and many, many expressionless stares from Tom Schwartz during its development, Lisa Vanderpump’s latest sexy, unique LA bar, Tom Tom, is ready to open.
The bar had a “soft opening” on Wednesday night, according to Page Six, which reports that “the cameras were rolling during the party, and the entire Vanderpump Rules cast—and Lance Bass—were in attendance, the insider said.” Hopefully, major celebs like Lance Bass will be frequenting Tom Tom in the months to come. A source claims the spot will open “in about three weeks.”
It was just two years ago that Lisa Vanderpump, in hopes of making more money off two pretty people named Tom, asked Vanderpump Rules cast mates Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval to walk several steps behind her into the restaurant business. Both Toms were miraculously able to contribute $50,000 to invest in Tom Tom and become junior biz partners with Lisa.
Sandoval took the venture extremely seriously. Schwartz, fearful of success, seemed content to put in the least amount of effort necessary to run a business. Congratulations to both of them.
They were there.
