  • Wal-Mart‘s sex-discrimination lawsuit will be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court. If the justices affirm the lower court’s ruling that the lawsuit can go to trial as a class-action, it will be the largest class-action lawsuit in American legal history. Six plaintiffs sued in 2001, alleging that Wal-Mart, the nation’s largest employer, engaged in systematic sex-based discrimination. Wal-Mart wants every woman employee who wishes to sue to have to do so individually. [WWD]

  • Horrible person Vitaly Borker of terrible website DecorMyEyes.com has been arrested for stalking, harassment, dealing in counterfeit merchandise, mail fraud, and wire fraud. Borker had sought to up his Google ranking by becoming notorious for bad customer service; after the New York Times covered him, Google fixed its ranking algorithm to differentiate between positive and negative mentions. Borker once told a customer who tried to reverse credit card charges for an allegedly counterfeit pair of eyeglass frames, “Do the right thing and everyone goes away. I AM WATCHING YOU!” The email was accompanied by a picture of her residence. [WWD]

Reports Women’s Wear Daily: “‘It will reflect the way we dress now,’ said Skaist-Levy, who was dressed in a vintage Dior full-skirted houndstooth frock at a recent ladies lunch. ‘We have outgrown our track suits and grown up.’ In addition to a myriad of vintage pieces, Skaist-Levy and Nash-Taylor also favor furry jackets and vests by Lanvin and Burberry, black leather pants and leggings, and sky-high heels.
