Tiger Woods' Ex Wants Out of Her NDA

Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend, Kristin Smith, is working on getting out of the non-disclosure agreement she signed after their breakup in 2017, implying she’s got a banger of a story she wants the freedom to make public.

TMZ reports that Woods and Smith are in arbitration over the NDA, which Smith is saying is not enforceable for reasons that are not totally apparent. From TMZ:

We’re told Smith believes Woods cheated on her in 2017 and that’s what ended their relationship. To save himself from another embarrassing sex-fueled PR nightmare, we’re told Woods offered Smith money to sign an NDA, but it’s unclear if she ever accepted it.

The site reports that Woods threatened to release “embarrassing pictures” of Smith if she goes public with the details of the end of their two year relationship, an odd move considering it was only last year that he was prepping to sue over his own leaked photos.

Things have been almost unwaveringly grim in recent years for the once beloved golf star. He’s been doing so-so at Sport, but nevertheless seems unable to keep himself out of the tabloids. In 2017, he was arrested in Florida for driving under the influence, which he attributed to “an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications.” Mm. That was just the latest in a long, depressing string of “Tiger Woods meltdown” stories that have peppered the news in the almost-decade since he was chased out of his home in the middle of the night by his then-wife, Elin Nordegren, who learned that he’d been extensively cheating on her.
