The Williams Sisters Had the Best Day Ever

In case you missed it: on Friday, Serena had a baby, and Venus advanced to the fourth round at the the US Open. WPBF-25 news producer Chris Shepherd tweeted that the baby girl is six pounds, 13 ounces. Beyoncé says congratulations.

Yesterday also marked the 20th anniversary of Venus Williams’s debut at the US Open at age 17, an episode marked by racism surrounding her presence, Sports Illustrated notes. So it is an occasion to celebrate that she has since arrived, and now, too, has another Williams woman.

This has been the best day for anyone in history.

Except for this ballboy whom Venus hit in the nuts.
