The Real Housewives of NYC Season Six Trailer Is Amazing

It’s been a long time since we last saw The Real Housewives of New York City (the last episode of season five aired in October 2012). In fact, season six almost didn’t happen at all after a lengthy, tense standoff during contract negotiations led to a delay in production. After being given an ultimatum, the women finally returned for filming—except for Countess LuAnn de Lesseps. She didn’t sign her contract in time, so she’s absent from the first three episodes of the season.

The result is that the Countess is no longer a full-time Housewife, but a recurring cast member. According to an interview with E!, she’s fine with that:

She’d rather spend more of her time on her upcoming women’s apparel line Countess Collection and pursuing more acting gigs.
