The Night Belongs To Victoria Woodhull

On this day in 1828, one the leaders of America’s suffrage movement was born, and thank god for that. Amongst many, many other things, she threw herself into politics and was the first woman to run for president. (The legality of which is disputed, of course.) Please do give her a very sincere toast tonight.

If you’re on the East Coast, stay dry this weekend. No one’s going to bat an eye if you don’t leave the house at all. Bust out the knitting and the podcasts, amirite? (Er, maybe that’s just me.) And if any of you are having lovely weather, you jerks can just keep that information to yourself.
