On Sunday, Vulture published a truly epic flounce by middle aged badger-man Alec Baldwin entitled "I Give Up." As singularly whiny as the I'm Not Gay; F**s Love Me piece seemed, it reminded us a lot of something another man recently said in the face of even uglier accusations. In fact, when read as companion pieces, Alec Baldwin's I Give Up sounds a whole lot like Woody Allen's I Didn't Do It. Don't believe it? Here's a chart.

Did they take a class together or something?
DISCUSSION
I see what you're doing here. However, could we not compare Alec's shitty justification of 'I might be a homophobe, or not' with Allen's denial of molesting a child in his home? Alec may be a thoughtless impulsive not-creative insult thrower, which certainly smells like disdain for gay men, this in NO WAY compares to the pathological grooming, molestation, and denial by Allen. This just puts calling someone a shitty name in the category of trauma and sexual abuse. Let's not.
