L'Wren Scott Dead at 49 in Apparent Suicide

The Daily News and the New York Post are reporting that designer L’Wren Scott died Monday morning from an apparent suicide. There’s little information available now, but what we do know is very sad: Scott’s assistant reportedly found her hanging from a scarf tied to a doorknob in her apartment in Chelsea. A former model, Scott was 49 and had been in a relationship with Mick Jagger since 2001. A spokesman for Jagger said that the musician is “completely shocked and devastated” by the news of her death.
