Here’s a hot bowl of nostalgia to enjoy. Cast members from The Baby-Sitters Club, the 1995 film based on Ann M. Martin’s popular series, came together for a recent screening in Austin, Texas. Director Melanie Mayron and several cast members, including Rachael Leigh Cook, Larisa Oleynik, Schuyler Fisk and Marla Sokoloff, were all in attendance to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary.
“I’ve known these ladies for 20 years and I feel so lucky to share this special evening with them,” Sokoloff, who played the club’s enemy, Cokie Mason, wrote in an Instagram photo (via EW). Cook, also known for She’s All That, posted an escalator selfie with Bre Blair, Oleynik and Sokoloff. Oleynik also starred on The Secret World of Alex Mack and Ten Things I Hate About You, while Sokoloff appeared on Full House and Boy Meets World. This movie was filled with so many darlings of the 1990s!
Mayron — a ‘90s darling herself who starred on the television show, thirtysomething — recently directed episodes of Grace and Frankie, Jane the Virgin and Switched at Birth.
