Tareq Salahi's Dog Dies, Causing Him To "Lose Two Bitches In One Week"

Ugh. The bad news: Tareq Salahi and suddenly-estranged wife Michaele Salahi (née Michelle Ann Holt, nickname: “Missy”) refuse to go away. The good news: They’re having a run of bad luck. We would never wish ill upon strangers, but karma is a boomerang, is it not? So when you spew half-truths and lies, get all dolled up and attend a party at the White House to which you were allegedly not invited, and proceed to hog the spotlight and demand attention mostly because you are thin, white, and blonde, you can’t expect good things to happen.

The latest: Tareq Salahi is hurt because Missy ran off with the dude from Journey. In an “exclusive” interview airing tonight, he’ll describe his marriage as “happy” and “perfect.” He also says:

“I mean, Neal [Schon, from Journey] really should be ashamed of himself for doing this, this was a beautiful marriage we had, and I was just blindsided that it was going on for two years. I just had no idea.”

Yes, it’s all the rock star’s fault! BTW: Missy signed a prenup:

Under the terms, if Michaele commits adultery, she automatically loses her right to any money or other property they accumulated during their 8-year marriage.

Of course, it’s unclear whether the Salahis actually have any money. They never actually owned a winery, as they claimed — Tareq’s family had one, but his mother fired him in 2006. They don’t even own a home. How do they earn income? Not from TV: They were kicked off of The Real Housewives Of DC, and Michaele was booted from Celebrity Rehab because she didn’t have an addiction. Now, while Michaele is hanging on stage at Journey concerts, Tareq claims that their Rio, their doberman, was so depressed about Michaele leaving that he died. Broken heart? Or embarrassment? (And yes, the always-classy TMZ is running pictures of the dog’s corpse. Christ.)
