Taraji P. Henson Wins a Golden Globe, Gives Leonardo DiCaprio Her Cookies (Literally)

GET YOUR FILTHY MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER. Taraji P. Henson won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama Sunday night and literally marched through the ballroom of the Beverly Hilton, passing out cookies to Leonardo DiCaprio (and others), which was nice and also hilarious, since Leo had not yet won any real awards.


Obviously the move was a play on the name of her character on Empire, Cookie Lyon. Henson then allowed two men to escort her up the stage and instructed one not to step on her train.

When she was instructed to begin wrapping things up, Taraji informed the audience that she had waited twenty years for this so, yes, they will be waiting for her to finish her speech.

Cookie would be so proud.
