The night was full of some really substantive stuff, like warnings about the threat of a socialist takeover and the horrors of free healthcare. From The Daily Commercial:

A new theme this year... was a contempt for any policy that smacks of socialism, a reaction to some of the newly elected crop of Democratic lawmakers in Washington. Holt Kramer said as much in her opening remarks, when after bringing Eric Trump on stage, she blurted: “This country will never go socialist!

Judge Jeanine Pirro, the Fox News television host, got the crowd roaring when she railed against what she called “open borders,” and the notion of free health care for everyone.

For tickets that cost between $1,000 for individuals and up to $20,000 for a table in the Donald J. Trump Grand Ballroom, guests were able to enjoy food, drink, and decor that included “bales of hay scattered near the stage” and “red glitter cowboy boots as table centerpieces.” And where better than a Michael’s Thanksgiving sale aisle hellscape to enjoy some illustrious guests such as Eduardo Bolsonaro, the son of Brazil’s right-wing, crypto-fascist president Jair Bolsonaro, who spoke of his long-time support for President Trump and joked about the wall. Also there: Actor Jon Voight, who reportedly shook hands with many rich people. And what’s a party without Furby co-creator Richard C. Levy, who told The Daily Commercial, “We’ve got to get the wall done”? And of course, Fox News goon Jeanine Pirro was also there to sell her books:

Eric Trump also made an appearance wearing “cowboy boots tucked under his suit pants.” He asked the crowd if they’re tired of winning yet. They were not:

President Trump was absent, but recorded a message to the attendees who spent thousands of dollars to sit in his club and enrich his family.

At least the goodie bags were cool: They included a MyPillow.
