Scarlett Johansson Canoodled With Colin Jost At SNL's Finale After-Party

Last weekend, Scarlett Johansson briefly reprised her role as Ivanka Trump on the season finale of Saturday Night Live. So, it follows that she would have attended the show’s after-party. It did not necessarily follow that she would also make out with Weekend Update’s Colin Jost, but she did that too.

Here’s what two witnesses had to say:

“‘Scarlett and Colin were making out at the bar at the SNL seaon finale party at 30 Rock…They would make out a bit, then go back to talking,’ says the source. ‘They were at the bar in front of everyone…they made out at least twice…Then they went back to talking and hanging with other people.’
Another source confirmed: ‘Scarlett and Colin were flirting and canoodling in full view of everyone at the after-party, including the SNL cast and crew. They were laughing and seemed to really hit it off.’”

As Lainey Gossip observes, ScarJo has now hosted SNL five times, which means she’s likely acclimated to the environment and feels comfortable enough letting down her guard. Under those circumstances, why not move with the booze and the horomones?

But I’m also with Lainey on the “uh, him?” front, primarily because Jost doesn’t do it for me as a comedian. Human desire is a rich tapestry! And as for Jost’s inclinations—well, there’s no mystery as to why he would enjoy smooching ScarJo.

It’s not especially shocking that Katy Perry would collect a hefty sum for judging American Idol, but a $25 million paycheck? That’s jaw-dropping regardless.

Perry provides considerable star power, to be sure, but she also delivered ABC from quite a predicament: Upfronts approached, and they still lacked a judge.

“Katy had all the leverage,” said one source. “If ABC ended up announcing the show without a judge, they’d be screwed.”

In 2012, American Idol tried to lure Perry with a mere $20 million, and she declined. Five years and an extra $5 million makes a difference, I suppose.
