Sarah Sanders goes to work every day to tell racist lies for the president because she wants to set a good example for her six-year-old daughter, according to an interview she gave this week to the Christian Broadcasting Network.
After saying that she believes God wants President Trump in the White House, Sanders was asked later in the interview if she experiences “mommy guilt” over working such long hours. Sanders said she does, but it’s worth it to inspire her children—particularly her daughter—just as her terrible father inspired her.
“I think it’s so important for our kids to see us engaged in things that matter,” Sanders explained. “My oldest is a girl. I think it’s very important for her to see—even at this age—that as a woman, she can do anything that she sets out to do.”But Sanders admits that, sometimes, engaging your children in your day job can backfire. “I had to explain to my three-year-old the other day what somebody getting killed in cold blood was! And I was like, ‘Where did you hear that?’ They had watched an interview I did on the news.”
