Sarah Palin Declares She Can Win on Newsweek Cover

Next week’s Newsweek cover features a smug-looking workout clothes-clad Sarah Palin standing majestically in front of the empty skies that represent her qualifications for President.

As far as wacky Newsweek covers go, I’d prefer a cover with a computer-rendered Zombie Eleanor Roosevelt about how she’d write her legal opinions if she were a 116-year-old Supreme Court justice. (Answer: with adorably illegible old lady scribble cursive.)

Either that, or I’d like to see the cover with this alternate headline, which seems more accurate given Palin’s track record.
