San Francisco Cathedral Gets First Female, Gay Dean

Jane Alison Shaw will become the first female dean of San Francisco‘s Grace Cathedral this year, and also its first openly gay one. This calls for celebration — if only all the songs about Grace Cathedral weren’t so damn sad.
