Samantha Bee Goes Deep On Male Oppression

Between the mancession, the network news anchors, and running only 485 of the Fortune 500 companies, it's hard out there for a dude.

What to do but pack up your sleeping bag and go camping with the consciousness raisers in the woods? As Bee puts it, "The key to lifting up any oppressed group is to give them a voice."

Check out Bee pushing back at The Myth Of Male Power author Warren Farrell and sneaking in a shot at her boss's boyfriend.

By the way, Bee's open mocking of the men's group retreat didn't stop them from wholeheartedly embracing the skit, which they've already embedded on their site:

Did anyone else read Self Made Man? One of the last chapters of the book has the author infiltrating a men's retreat (the premise of the book is that a female lesbian journalist poses as a straight man for a year). I have a ton of problems with the book, but that chapter is both alternatively sad and frightening.
