Sad For Mandy Moore And Ryan Adams Divorcing

Mandy Moore has always been a little too saccharine for my taste, but I reserve a special place for her in my heart because she’s open about her lady struggles. And Ryan Adams, well he seems like a nice, stand-up fella. So you know, I’m sad. I’m sad they’re breaking up. I always want love to win and it’s sad when it doesn’t.

But, you know, full-on respect to Adams for being so uncompromising about their privacy as they transition from nearly six years of marriage to divorce.

The soon-to-be exes have always kept quiet about their now strained relationship. During a September 2014 interview with BuzzFeed, Adams explained why he hung up during an interview with a Melbourne radio station after being asked about his wife. “I just don’t share at all about my private life,” he at first politely told the interviewer, only to hang up after being questioned again.
“Okay, so I just hung up because I was on the radio getting asked about my wife,” he later told BuzzFeed. “I was really nice about it the first time, and I’m sorry, but I won’t repeat myself. The deal is this: I’m a private person and I’ll be a gentleman and say I’m not talking about my marriage ever. I’ll never talk about it. Ever.”
