RuPaul's Drag Race: More Charm, Less Hooker

Latest

Last’s night game show-themed episode started out with a little Price Is Right-inspired round of The Queen Is Right:

The prizes were drag-queen-related paraphernalia, like duct tape, hemorrhoid cream, brass knuckles, pepper spray and a wig. Jessica Wild won the challenge involving guessing the price of hemorrhoid cream, even though she didn’t know what it was for.

The queens also had to dress up as celebrities and participate in the Match Game-inspired “Snatch Game.” Raven was fairly terrible at pretending to be Paris Hilton. Tatianna did a pretty great Britney Spears impression. Tyra was extremely deluded about how to play Beyoncé.

The best impression, by far, was Pandora Boxx doing Carol Channing. Completely hilarious and on-target. Raspberries! Jujubee’s Kimora? Let’s just say what she lacked in fabulousity she made up for by doing makeup neck creases.

Pandora Boxx was amazing, but Tatianna ended up winning the challenge. Disappointing. Especially since judge Merle Ginsberg told Tatianna she had a five million dollar body and a $20 outfit. Also, Merle wanted to see “more charm, less hooker.”

In the end, Sonique and Morgan McMichaels were in the bottom two and each had to lip sync for her life. The lipsync battle was AWE-incuding, with Sonique’s flips, splits and handstands. No one was more entertained by this than guest judge Lisa Rinna. (For some reason, guest judge Niecy Nash, whom I adore, got very little face time on the episode!)

Morgan got to shantay and stay; Sonique had to sashay away.

Raspberries! Does anyone remember when Carol Channing played the White Queen? Or that time she got robbed??? One of my favorite old clips is from when she was on What’s My Line, speaking faux-Français. A must-see.
