Like something out of a fan fiction—I see and respect you, Wattpad writers—Kit Harington, the real Jon Snow, and Rose Leslie, Ygritte, tied the knot in her native Scotland over the weekend. (And for the real nerds: without an arrow in sight.)
It was a hella cute affair and most of the Game of Thrones fam was in attendance; you better believe they brought the looks. But before we get to our top three fits, check out our lovebirds:
I’m such a sucker for a tasteful flower crown and a floral floor length, long-sleeve, sheer wedding gown—Leslie looks like a goddamn princess and not a spearwife, which is the real glow up here. Harington looks handsome as hell, too, but there are a lot of daring clothing choices happening: the cream vest, pinstripe pants and elongated black blazer certainly make a statement (one I’m still trying to decide if I’m about). Anyway, this is about LOVE and not FASHION, and these two are overjoyed. Check out Leslie’s smile! Aw!
They departed from the scene in this Jurassic Park-ass jeep thing that I’m hoping has some sentimental meaning. Check out Harington taking the wheel on the right side. The UK is wild.
And now for the real stars of the party—my millennial fashion icons/BFF inspo and yours—Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark, left) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark, right)—with some Richard Madden (Robb Stark) for good measure:
Turner appears to be 100 feet tall and extremely 2018 in this orangey-red blazer dress, over-the-knee black boots, and bonus points for the matching baby sunnies. Williams kept it casual-cool in an art-y collared jumpsuit and heels that match Turner’s ensemble. That’s some next-level friendship shit.
However! The real star of the Harington-Leslie wedding was Madden in his kilt—the strongest Scottish style—complete with some intense shoelace action that cover nearly half his calves. Suddenly the Jez staff is in support of his claim to the throne. Just saying.
