It was rainy last night in London, and some of the stars on the red carpet at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards got drizzled on. But raindrops cannot stop the sheer fabulousness of Dame Helen Mirren.

…and ditched the jacket once she was inside. This is a very pretty dress, but it does nothing for her skin tone, and the makeup isn't helping. A bright pink or bright red lip might have worked better. As for the hair? Hate it.

Marion Cotillard's dress is so pretty...or would be if it didn't have that weird, invisible panel on the side. Am I just not getting the appeal of that fabric? To me, it just distracts from an interesting shape and a beautiful color.
